Vilkår og betingelser

By booking with Egypt Liveaboard you agree to the terms below. If anything is unclear, contact us before booking.

1. Bookings

A booking is confirmed when we issue a written confirmation and receive the deposit. Until both happen, a reservation is a request, not a booking.

2. Deposit and payment

A 30% non-refundable deposit is due on booking. The balance is due 60 days before departure. Bookings made inside 60 days of departure require full payment.

3. Cancellation

Cancellations more than 60 days before departure forfeit the deposit. Cancellations inside 60 days are non-refundable, but we will work with you to move the booking to a future date subject to operator availability.

4. Dive certification and insurance

Every guest must hold a valid dive certification appropriate for the route and valid dive insurance. Egypt Liveaboard and the boat operator reserve the right to refuse dives that exceed a guest’s certification or experience.

5. Force majeure

Weather, port closures, political events, or acts of nature that prevent sailing are outside our control. In such cases we will offer the closest equivalent alternative, a credit for a future trip, or a refund where the operator’s contract permits.

6. Liability

Egypt Liveaboard connects divers with licensed boat operators. Each boat operator is responsible for the safety and execution of the trip. We act as an agent and are not liable for injury, loss, or damage resulting from the trip.

7. Reviews

Only customers with a completed booking can leave a review. All reviews are moderated for spam and abuse. Egypt Liveaboard will not remove a negative review at a boat operator’s request; operators may post one reply per review.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Hurghada.
