Trust and privacy

Built so nobody games the middle.

The rules work the same for divers and for boat operators. Here is what they are.

  • Masked identities

    Before a deal is accepted, divers see a masked boat name and owners see only a first name. No one can reach around the platform to bypass it.

  • Direct contract with the operator

    The booking is a contract between you and the boat operator. They invoice you directly, you pay them in the currency they quote, and the agreement (cancellation, deposits, terms) is theirs, not ours.

  • Transparent commission

    A small service fee is billed to the boat, not to the diver. Prices you see are the same prices you pay.

  • Verified reviews only

    Only divers who completed a trip can leave a review. Owners can reply publicly. Nobody can edit or delete an honest review.

Is it free for divers?
Yes. Creating an account, posting a request, and chatting with boats is free. You pay only the boat, for the trip itself.
How many offers do I get?
It depends on your dates and region. For popular weeks on the Red Sea, expect multiple boats to reply within 24 hours.
Can I talk to only one boat?
Yes. If you already know which boat you want, open its page and message the owner directly instead of broadcasting a request.
What does Egypt Liveaboard charge owners?
A small percentage commission on booked trips. No listing fees, no monthly subscription. You see the commission on every booking from your dashboard.
